History and Story:

A space for sellers to share their journey, mission, and values.

References or Reviews:

Space for trade references or certifications from organizations they' re affiliated with.

Product Guarantees or Warranties:

Information about product satisfaction guarantees, return policies, and redressal mechanisms.

Educational Qualifications or Training:

Details about any formal agricultural education or training the seller may have undergone.

Insurance and Liabilities:

Proof of appropriate insurance coverage for food products.

Third-party Audits or Inspections:

Any third-party audits or certifications the seller has undergone.

Revised Cancellation Policy:

For Buyers/Customers:

Early Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled with a full refund if done within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery/pick-up. This allows farmers or food sellers ample time to adjust or repurpose their resources if necessary.

Late Cancellation: Orders cancelled after the 48-hour window but 24 hours before the scheduled delivery/pick-up will incur a 50% cancellation fee. This covers potential preparations, reservations, or adjustments the seller might've made.

Last-minute Cancellation: No refunds will be given for orders cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery/pick-up.

Failed Deliveries: If a buyer is not available at the time of delivery, and hasn’t made prior arrangements with the seller, they may be liable for any redelivery fees or risk forfeiting their purchase.

For Sellers:

Inventory Issues: If a seller cannot fulfill an order due to unforeseen inventory issues, they must notify the buyer at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery/pick-up, offering a suitable replacement or a full refund.

Late Deliveries: Sellers are responsible for on-time deliveries. Repeated complaints about a seller's late deliveries may result in penalties or removal from the platform.

Quality Assurance: Sellers must ensure that the product delivered matches the quality and description provided on the platform. Discrepancies can lead to refunds, and consistent issues might result in penalties or removal from the platform.

Disputes:

In case of any disputes, both buyers and sellers are encouraged to communicate and resolve issues amicably.

If no resolution is achieved, "From The Farm" will act as a mediator. Both parties agree to provide necessary details and cooperate during the mediation process.

Final decisions made by "From The Farm" in mediation cases will be binding.
